Bajaj Auto has been spotted testing what looks like an all-new dual-sport motorcycle on Indian roads, wrapped in heavy camouflage.
The test mule points strongly toward the company finally preparing to step into the entry-level adventure and off-road-focused segment, which has been gaining a lot of attention in recent years.
The design of the motorcycle is clearly built around functionality rather than styling alone. It gets a tall front beak-style fender, a narrow and upright fuel tank section, and a long single-piece seat that should work well for both daily riding and occasional off-road use.
The front end looks newly developed, but the rear section still carries some familiar Pulsar design cues, especially the split LED tail-lamp setup. An upswept exhaust adds to the rugged character and suggests it’s meant to handle rough terrain.
On the hardware side, the bike appears to use a proper dual-sport setup with long-travel suspension at both ends. The front uses telescopic forks while the rear gets a monoshock with linkage, a layout commonly used to improve stability and comfort on uneven surfaces.
It also gets spoke wheels, likely a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination, which is a typical setup for bikes that need to balance road touring with light off-road capability.
Although specifications are not confirmed, the engine casing strongly hints at a 250cc single-cylinder motor. The most likely source is the unit found in the Bajaj Pulsar N250.
If everything stays on track, a launch could happen sometime between late 2026 and early 2027. Once launched, it will likely slot into the entry-level ADV and dual-sport space, going up against motorcycles such as the Hero Xpulse 210 and the more premium KTM 390 Enduro.
